Anyone who has spent many years working on complex logistics projects knows this: there is almost never a lack of expertise or commitment amongst those involved. Projects do not fail because of the underlying technology or IT. They fail due to a lack of leadership, management, oversight, communication and unrealistic expectations. alphavisio was founded to change precisely that.

The subject of intralogistics in all its facets has fascinated and inspired him ever since his studies at the Technical University of Munich. After holding positions at a renowned manufacturer and integrator of logistics automation, in industry and in consultancy, he founded alphalogs over 20 years ago.

After completing her degree in industrial engineering at KIT in Karlsruhe, she initially moved into logistics consultancy and subsequently into retail. Ms Hölker joined alphalogs in the 2010s. She is characterised by a deep analytical understanding, precision in her work and confident communication skills.

Two business units, one company. alphavisio emerged from alphalogs – and from the realisation that complex logistics projects require an independent managing body. Independent, yet closely linked: alphalogs plans and implements, whilst alphavisio manages, coordinates, directs and monitors – but never in the same project. Both operate neutrally, independently and consistently.
